Investigators said driver inattention may be to blame for an accident in front of the Corpus Christi Athletic Club.
"It looks like a Cadillac was turning into the Athletic Club here," said Lt. Thomas Nichols of the Corpus Christi Police Department. "She was either not watching and she turned a little early and basically went head on into a pickup truck that was heading southbound on Airline."
The accident happened around lunchtime at Airline and Holly. Investigators said the female driver was either trying to get around the line of vehicles at the light or simply not paying attention when she slammed into the truck. She will be cited for failing to yield.
