Officers Out Issuing Parking Citations - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

The Corpus Christi Police Department's parking control officers are on the streets giving citations for wrong-way parking and other parking violations Wednesday.

It's part of a big push to clean up the streets of Corpus Christi. Violations include parking your car facing the wrong direction, having a disabled vehicle parked in the street or blocking public sidewalks.

Tickets average about $40 a piece.
