Blowout Forces Cement Truck Off Road

GREGORY (Kiii News) -

A cement truck filled with 65,000 pounds of cement went off road after a blowout Wednesday.

The truck was traveling north on Hwy 181 near Gregory when its left-front tire blew out, causing it to veer off the road and hit a wire barrier and sand-filled barrels.

The driver of the truck was not injured, and received no citation for the accident. He was taken to the hospital just as a precaution.
