It's the next great tournament to come to the Coastal Bend: the Champion Saltwater Round-Up Fishing Tournament!
Make plans now for the weekend of Sept. 8-9. It's the weekend after Labor Day and the perfect time to fish the bay waters of South Texas, and the Tournament will benefit the American Diabetes Association.
There's something for everyone and every angler has the chance to win the Grand Prize without bringing in the most fish!
Registration will take place from 3-5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, followed by evening performances by musicians David Browne and Five Card Draw. The tournament will begin at daylight Sunday morning, and contestants can start weighing-in at 2 p.m.
Kayakers are allowed to fish in the tournament as well.
