Grass Fire on Burling Coat Factory Property - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

There was a small fire at 2 p.m. Thursday, on the property of the Burlington Coat Factory on McArdle and Airline.

The flames jumped from the grass to a fence. A witness said he called 911 while a work crew attempted to beat the fire out with a piece of cardboard.

There were no injuries, and the store itself was unaffected.
