Former Refugio Police Chief Sentenced to Three Years - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

A judge has sentenced the former Refugio police chief to three years in prison.

In May, 51-year old Chris Brock plead guilty to misusing between $20,000-$100,000 in drug forfeiture funds from his department. That's a third-degree felony.

The District Attorney's Office believes Brock actually misused more money than that, but that's the amount they were able to prove. The DA's Office also said the forfeiture funds came from a traffic stop in which police seized more than $2 million in drug money.
