The Emergency Management Office will be posting storm and emergency-related information to social media Web sites like Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr.
It was announced by Nueces County Judge Loyd Neal on Friday. By connecting to one or more of these sites, area residents will be able to get the latest information and activities of the Nueces County Emergency Operations Center.
Neal urged that people get this information to anybody who might be interested in connecting with Nueces County.
