Police discovered 400 pounds of marijuana in Alice Thursday night.

It was just before 10 p.m. when officers say they noticed a sport utility vehicle driving on a restricted area of a commerce road in Alice. When the officer began to follow the suspicious SUV, everyone in the vehicle bailed out.

Department of Public Safety officials searched for the suspects. They were never found.
