FAA Grant to Improve Airport Infrastructure

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

Some major infrastructure improvements are coming soon to the Corpus Christi International Airport, thanks to a grant from the Federal Aviation Administration.

The FAA announced Friday a $16.3 million grant for reconfiguring the runway and taxiway system at the airport. When the project is complete next year, it will meet the latest federal safety standards.
