Police said two different pizza delivery drivers were robbed and assaulted over the past two nights in Kingsville.
In one case, the robbers even took the victim's vehicle.
Police said it isn't the first time a pizza delivery man has been robbed in Kingsville, but what was unusual about this time was that a pistol was displayed. That usually doesn't happen in these sorts of robberies.
The pizza bandits robbed pizza delivery drivers from Dominos and Pizza Hut, the only two pizza places in town. The robberies happened on West Lott Avenue and West Warren Avenue. In both cases, the pizzas were delivered to abandoned homes.
Police said three black males in their teens or 20s took the pizzas and whatever cash the delivery men had on them. The robbers also beat up the delivery drivers, leaving them with bruises, and in one case, flashing a weapon.
Fortunately, the pizza delivery drivers did not suffer any life-threatening injuries.
At last check, Police were questioning suspects but had not made any arrests. If you have any information, please call Crimestoppers at 361-592-4636.
