Local DMV Evacuated After Bomb Scare

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

There were some tense moments inside our local Department of Motor Vehicles, after a suspicious package was found there Friday afternoon.

The entire building was immediately evacuated. The Corpus Christi Police Department's bomb squad and local firefighters arrived on the scene just before 3:30 p.m.

Betty Garcia was in the women's restroom when she saw the suspicious package behind a commode. It was a Disney box.
