Grab your swimsuits and your sunscreen, as summer continues at our city pools.
The City is extending its summer swim schedule at select pools around town. That means Oso, Collier and Greenwood pools will stay open through Sunday, Aug. 12, while the Oso, Greenwood and HEB pools will be open on Saturday and Sunday only through the Labor Day weekend.
"We feel the pools are safe, affordable ways for families to come out and enjoy what Parks and Rec has to offer," said Chris Downing, aquatics manager with the City of Corpus Christi. "By supporting these pools, not only are you getting a chance to hang out with your families, you are helping keep these pools operating."
The general swim admission fee is free for kids under the age of two, $1 for kids under 18, $1.25 for seniors and $3 a day for adults.
