A couple that considers themselves Whataburger's biggest fans have just completed their mission to eat at every Whataburger in the country.
Karl and Carol Hoepfner stopped by the Whataburger by the Bay back in July of 2011. By then, the Rockport couple had visited 225 Whataburger restaurants.
On Wednesday, they completed their odyssey with a stop at a Whataburger in Dallas. As a reward, the restaurant chain presented them with a brand new van.
By the way, the couple completed their journey on the 62nd anniversary of the opening of the first Whataburger right here in Corpus Christi.
