Kick-Off to Shark Week at Texas State Aquarium

Folks who visited the Texas State Aquarium Saturday were in for a special treat.

The tourist attraction was celebrating the kick-off to Shark Week, which is in it's 25th season on the Discovery Channel.

Visitors got a chance to learn about sharks....with a few hands on activities like scavenger hunts and different types of experiments. A raffle drawing took place and lots of door prizes were handed out as well.

Shark Week begins on Sunday.
