Nederland police arrested a man Friday afternoon in connection with Monday's bank robbery at the Community Bank at 2008 Highway 365.

32-year-old Christopher Levi Woodcock of Central Gardens is in the Jefferson County jail on a $250,000 bond.

Police say Woodcock was arrested at his home on Price Street without incident.

The robbery happened just after 3 p.m. Monday at the Community Bank, near Ritter Lumber.

No one was injured in the robbery.

A police spokesperson says no weapon was displayed.  The robber gave the teller a note stating to give him the money and no one would get hurt.  He then put one of his hands in his pocket.  The teller gave him an undetermined amount of cash and he left the building.

The investigation is ongoing.
