A Kingsville police officer was able to revive a baby girl Thursday morning, after the baby nearly drowned in the bathtub.
The six-month old was taken by HALO Flight to Driscoll Children's Hospital in Corpus Christi.
Officials say the baby girl was not in stable condition when she left Kingsville by helicopter.
It occurred on the 900 block of East Warren Street in Kingsville. Police said one of the other children in the home put the baby in the bathtub and turned the water on to take a bath, and that a Kingsville police sergeant was able to revive the child by performing CPR.
The current condition of the baby is unknown at this time.
