Posted: Updated:

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -  Police find a stolen truck overnight and the suspects who range in age from 12 to 16 years old.  Officers caught up with the group of juveniles, five in all, who police say went for a joy ride in the stolen truck. The vehicle along with a boat that was attached to it was reported missing just after two thirty Saturday morning on the city's southside. The boat was ditched off of Ayers.  A short time later, officers caught up with the stolen truck and the suspects at this Stripes at 3rd and Morgan. Police say getting caught didn't seem to bother the kids.  Lt. Bruce Ward said, "just talking to them, they seemed real arrogant and cocky.  It doesn't seem to bother them.  A couple of them have gangster tattoos on them.  We ask them about it, and they deny it.  Two of them have tattoos which are common with local street gangs."   In fact police say one of the kids was already wanted for breaking into a woman's home and stealing her car just a couple of weeks ago.  All five suspects were taken to the Juvenile Justice Center and will be charged for the crime.
