Alice Police Arrest Suspect in Latest Homicide - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

Juan Laureles, 41, was arrested for the murder of 53-year old Erasmo Luna, Jr., Sunday in Alice. He was found hiding in a tool shed on C.R. 120, near Highway 281.

Authorities said that Laureles fatally stabbed Luna Saturday night. They said the killing does not appear to be gang related, or connected to the city's recent string of gang violence.

Just this year, there have been seven homicides in the small town of Alice.
