An ongoing fight between brothers led to a stabbing around 8 a.m. Monday, on the 3200 block of Meadow Ridge in Flour Bluff. John Elmdahl, 18, was arrested.

Elmdahl was lead out of the Flour Bluff home in handcuffs, his white shirt appearing to be stained with blood. Police were called to the home just after 8 a.m., when they say an argument between Elmdahl and his 20-year brother came to a head.

According to police, Elmdahl grabbed a knife and stabbed his older brother in the back, chest and hand.

The injuries are considered superficial, and the victim is expected to be okay.

Elmdahl was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and could face up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
