BISHOP (Kiii News) -
The Bishop man accused of shooting and killing two men over the weekend remains in the Nueces County Jail, facing two counts of capital murder.
Judge Jose Longoria of the 214th District Court placed 23-year old Noe Salinas on a $1 million bond for the deaths of 22-year old Juan Arnulfo Casso and 32-year old Mario Lee Briones.
Salinas is also charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for allegedly shooting 32-year old Anthony Lee Alanis, who is recovering from his wounds.
The incident stemmed from a confrontation between Casso and Salinas, after Salinas disciplined Casso's child. Both men have a child with the same woman.
The district attorney said he will consider the death penalty for the capital murder charges.
