Hooks Leave Home on Winning Note

Posted: Updated:

Corpus Christi (Kiii Sports) - The Corpus Christi Hooks got another top notch starting pitching performance from Ross Seaton on Monday night to complete a three-game sweep of San Antonio.

The Hooks' 3-0 win, combined with Frisco's 2-1 loss in 13 innings to Midland, cut Corpus Christi's magic number to clinch the second-half championship to 1 game. The Hooks will open a four-game series in Frisco tonight.

The Hooks can secure home field advantage throughout the Texas League playoffs by winning just one of their remaining seven games.
