If you plan on spending Labor Day weekend on Padre Island National Seashore, make sure you are safe and sober.

National Park Rangers will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint this Saturday on Park Road 22, at the Malaquite Visitor Center, to deter drivers under the influence of drugs or alcohol. It is part of the national crackdown, "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign.
