A 12-year old girl who was reported missing Tuesday was found by her aunt, and is safe Thursday night.
Cameron Hernadez, a Tom Browne Middle School student, told her mom she was going for a jog around the complex where they live Tuesday night, and never returned home. That spawned a search by police and community members.
The girl was found by her aunt, who was posting flyers in the area of Port and Morgan Thursday afternoon. The 12-year old was taken to Driscoll Children's Hospital as a precaution.
Police said the investigation into her disappearance continues.
