CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -
A disgraced Corpus Christi Police Department officer was sentenced to 13 years in prison after pleading guilty to having sex with a minor.
Robert McChester was sentenced on Thursday. He plead guilty to having sex with a female student at the high school where he was working at as a security guard.
"Robert accepted responsibility and he's been punished, and he'll serve his time," said Keith Gould, McChester's attorney. "And hopefully, he'll get out and be a productive citizen."
