If you live in the city of Hebbronville, in Jim Hogg County, you will be without a constant water flow for the next couple of days.
Crews said that due to two outages at two of the town's three water wells, the city will have to ration water until Sunday at the latest.
In the meantime, County officials will turn the water on during the hours of 4-11 a.m. and 6-10 p.m.
"Due to the heavy drought that we've had, it's quite a burden on the two wells that we do have," Water Supervisor Billy Moss said. "Crews are working on the wells, trying to get it hooked up and hopefully deliver water by Labor Day."
All students in the Jim Hogg County Independent School District will be released early Friday to accommodate the work. School officials hope to have everything back up and running by Sunday at the latest.
