Senior Citizen Crashes Car Into Building - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

A senior citizen escaped serious injury Friday, when he mistook the accelerator for the brakes and crashed into a building.

"As you can see, the vehicle jumped the bumper guard there, and struck the building itself," said Lt. Isaac Valencia of the Corpus Christi Police Department.

It happened around 12:30 p.m. at the Humpal Physical Therapy clinic. The 92-year old driver escaped injury, and no citations were issued since this was a private property accident.
