CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

The Coastal Bend Labor Council hosted a special Labor Day Breakfast Celebration on Monday, at the Communication Workers of America Hall on South Staples.

Organizers said the event was aimed at recognizing the achievements and contributions of the American workforce.

Guest speakers on hand were Senator Juan "Chuy" Hinojosa and Rose Meza Harrison.
