CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -
Assistant City Manager Troy Riggs could be leaving Corpus Christi for a job in Indianapolis, where he was interviewing for a position as public safety director on Tuesday.
Riggs is said to be one of the four finalists for the position. Over the phone, Riggs said he did not apply for the job, and that he was sought out by top officials in that city.
The city manager said he is familiar with Indianapolis from his days working in the Louisville, KY, police department. Riggs said nothing has been decided, but that this opportunity was something he could not ignore.
