Home Destroyed in Morning Fire in Alice - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

A fire destroyed a home in the 100 block of Goliad St. in Alice Wednesday morning.

It happened around 6 a.m., and took firefighters about a half-hour to get the blaze under control.

A 25-year old man reportedly lived there with a male friend. Both men got out safely. Witnesses said an altercation broke out early Wednesday morning at the home, and that there were verbal threats to burn the house down, but the fire chief said they don't have an official cause yet.
