Resources, services and advocacy are paramount to people with hearing loss.

The Deaf and Hard of Hearing Center in Corpus Christi is hosting a fundraiser with a big name in dancing power.

Mary Wambach, executive director, told John Thomas how the group got "Dancing with the Stars" winner J.R. Martinez to be their guest speaker.

The event will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 10, at the Corpus Christi Omni Hotel. For more information, call 361-993-1154.
