Traffic Backed Up After Semi Truck Rollover on NPID

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

There were no injuries after a semi truck rolled over on its side at around 8:30 a.m. Thursday on North Padre Island Drive, between Agnes and Bates.

Police said the driver's 48,000 pound load shifted when navigating a curve, bending the frame of the trailer and causing the trailer to roll.

There were no injuries, and the operator of the truck was not ticketed. However, that stretch of road was closed for about two hours during clean-up.
