CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii Sports) - The Ray Texans said on the sidelines that not many people expected them to beat Beeville, and while they might have been right, that's exactly what they did Saturday.
The Texans improved to 2-0 on the season by holding off the Trojans 28-21 at Buc Stadium. Ray scored all of their points in the first half, capped off by a long touchdown reception by Armando Garza, who made an amazing cut to get in for the score. Beeville drops to 1-1 on the season.
