CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) - Police swarm the Century 16 movie theater Saturday afternoon after an officer spots a suspicious SUV in the parking lot. Police say the SUV caught their attention because it looked like an imposter DPS unit. An officer with CCPD ran the license plate and found out the vehicle did not belong to a State Trooper. Authorities waited for the owner to get out of the theater in order to question her about it. The driver, a woman, told troopers it's her husbands car, and that he was out of town on work. Officers removed the decals and let the woman go. Charges could be filed against her husband for posing as a DPS Trooper.
