Funeral Services Held for 18-Year Old Accident Victim - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

Funeral services were held Monday for one of the three victims that died in an Aug. 31 car accident on I-37 near Mathis.

Celeste Gauna, or Cellie as she was known to her friends, was the passenger in a car hit by another car on I-37. She and the driver were both killed.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Corpus Christi Funeral Home on the 2400 block of Baldwin.  Gauna was born in Austin, but was raised in Corpus Christi, graduating from Miller High School this year. She was currently attending a culinary school in Austin.

Gauna was 18 years old.
