HALO Flight Sees Turbulence After Collision with Bird

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

It was a frightening moment for the crew and passenger of a HALO Flight transport over the weekend.

An official with the air ambulance company said it was shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday when the helicopter was spun into turbulence after it collided with a bird.

Fortunately, the pilot was able to land the chopper safely, and the patient was transported to a hospital without any further injury.
