CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -
Wesley Striplin, 69, allegedly hit a 55-year old woman over the head with a bottle as a result of the argument over beer, and was arrested Monday night.
The incident happened just before 6 p.m. Monday. Police said they arrived to the 1400 block of Laredo and found the 55-year old woman unconscious.
During the investigation, police found out the woman had a disagreement with Striplin over beer, and she slapped him. He then hit her over the head with a beer bottle.
Striplin was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The woman is expected to be okay.
