Victim of car wreck passes away in hospital

Friends of 40-year-old Roxanna Hagan White say she passed away at 10:34 p.m. Wednesday.

Doctors say White had very low brain activity due to the lack of oxygen to her brain when she had died at the scene of a wreck on U.S. Highway 69 near Tram Road Monday. White was revived on the way to Christus Hospital Saint Elizabeth. She is survived by her mother and brother.

About two dozen friends of 40-year-old Roxanna Hagan White came together Tuesday night in prayer.

Monday morning she was on the way to take care of a friends elderly mother. White previously worked at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
