Javelinas Riding Confidence Wave Heading to Cowboys Stadium

Posted: Updated:

KINGSVILLE (Kiii Sports) - The Javelinas finally beat their rival for the first time in eight years, and now they're ready to take that confidence to the "House that Jerry Built."

#14 Texas A&M-Kingsville will take on West Texas A&M at Cowboys Stadium this Saturday after pulling off the upset of then #9 Abilene Christian 16-13 this past weekend. The Javelinas' offense only put one touchdown up on the board, but got three field goals from LSC Special Teams Player of the Week Matt Stoll and a great effort from the conference Defensive Player of the Week Marquis Singleton.

The Javelinas lost at Cowboys Stadium last year to Midwestern State 44-38, but say they're ready to take on West Texas' high-powered offense this weekend in their return trip to Jerryland.
