CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

If you want to be happy in health, you must be happy when you work out.

In this edition of It's Time Texas, Kiii News Anchor John Thomas shows us what Ageless Fitness does for your body and mind.

Ageless Fitness is a low-impact strength and cardio class. Women and men, young and old, spend about an hour dancing their way through songs you would find in a Latin club or in the Middle East.

If this class has a Zumba feel to it, that is not by mistake. Stretching and flexibility are key components, providing a different feel from your typical Zumba class.

"With all the stretching, we can prevent injuries," said Yulie Johnson, Ageless Fitness Instructor. "So it's really easy to follow and everybody enjoys it."

Johnson said Ageless Fitness helps burn calories, maintain weight or improve a chronic condition.

She said a one-hour class like this two or three times a week is great for anyone looking for an alternative to standard mainstream classes.
