JIM WELLS COUNTY (Kiii News) -
A Jim Wells County Sheriff's deputy went looking for suspects with outstanding warrants on Thursday, as part of the Jim Wells County warrant roundup.
"The biggest thing is not to get to complacent," Deputy Chance Whittington said. "Even the simplest of warrants, sometimes people don't corporate as much as we hope they would, and that can sometimes lead you into a bad situation."
Whittington said the warrants included everything from Class C misdemeanors to felonies. In fact, he actually served a felony warrant for evading to a man already in jail.
