CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

The 7th annual Pachanga cook-off at Grunt's Texas Cantina features some of the best beef and brisket in south Texas.  Proceeds from the event benefit the Ronald McDonald House.

Ronald McDonald House helps families stay together at little or no cost when their child is in the hospital.  Executive Director of the non-profit, Mark Avelar, says the cook off is the second largest fund raiser for the Corpus Christi chapter.

First place winner of the popular beef brisket division will take home $500.00.  Other cook-off divisions include spare ribs, chicken, chili, and pan decampo.  There will be plenty of items to place bids on during the auction.  There will also be a motorcycle run, children's activities and other vendors.
