The new official Viking spirit symbol was revealed Tuesday morning at Del Mar College.
The new seal is being displayed at the north lobby of the Harvin Student Center. Officials are excited to show off the new symbol to the community.
"You know, to be able to carry around with you the symbol, physically, the symbol for our logo around the community and wherever they go, is a huge source of pride," Del Mar College President Mark Escamilla said.
Merchandise containing the new logo can be purchased online at the Del Mar College Web site, or at the on-campus bookstore.
