Those looking to become our next Mayor or City Council representative visited with members of the Firefighters Association Tuesday night.
The association will unveil its list of endorsements on Wednesday.
"We're looking at council members who will be able to look at that budget and get us back up to speed again," said Carlos Torres, Corpus Christi Fire Department Union President. "Improve not just working conditions, but improve staffing levels."
The candidates had the chance to brief the association members on their qualifications and their vision for the city. They also took part in a question and answer session.
