Many people complain about serving jury duty, but here is a reason to celebrate.

Those serving on jury duty are getting a pay raise. Starting Oct. 1, jurors will be paid $30 for the second day of duty and everyday after. That's a daily $2 increase.

The current pay is $28. The first day's pay will not change. That amount is $10.
