KINGSVILLE (Kiii News) -
Former Texas A&M University-Kingsville Athletics Director Brian DeAngelis, officially resigned his post on Thursday. Not much was disclosed as to the cause of his decision.
Now, according to The South Texan, a news service out of TAMUK, DeAngelis was arrested for improper photography in a San Antonio Wal-Mart by the Bexar County Sheriff's Department on Sept. 17, and was released on a $5,000 bond. He was placed on administrative leave the next day.
DeAngelis' written resignation was received by the university on Wednesday, and announced on Thursday. According to the TAMUK news organization,
he began gathering his belongings from the university on Thursday as well.
