Alleged Drunk Driver Slams into Parked Truck - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

An alleged drunk driver lost control of her vehicle and ran into a parked car at around 5 a.m. Sunday.

It happened on the 4300 block of Sherwood. According to police, the driver of a grey minivan slammed into a pickup truck, pushing it about 100 feet down from where it was parked.

The driver, 28-year old Laura Hays, was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Witnesses at the scene said she couldn't even stand up. Blood results are pending.
