SWAT Team Helps Serve Search Warrant

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

There were some tense moments in one Corpus Christi neighborhood near McArdle when the SWAT team was called in to help serve a search warrant.

Neighbors reported hearing loud booms from distraction devices as SWAT officers converged on a home at the 4800 block of Urban Street.

Department of Public Safety troopers were serving a search warrant and ended up arresting 28-year old Tony Garza Rodela. Authorities ended up finding one ounce of crack cocaine and a .44 revolver inside the home.
