Corpus Christi (Kiii Sports) - Friday Night Sports Blitz- Part III:

One of the night's more anticipated match ups took place in Beeville as the Trojans hosted Ingleside. Mustang quarterback Tristen Barajas threw four touchdown passes and ran for another TD as the visitors beat Beeville 34-21.

The Odem Owls made their first appearance of the season on the Friday Night Blitz as they played in Robstown. The visitors made themselves right at home at 'Picker Field with 28 first-half points in route to a 43-7 win over 0-4 Robstown.

One of the night's most competitive games featured another showdown between former district rivals as Aransas Pass hosted Orange Grove. The Bulldogs jumped out to an early 14-0 lead over AP, but had to tack on a 4th quarter TD to edge the Panthers 28-21 and stay unbeaten this season. Aransas Pass dropped to 2-2 under first-year coach Gary Davenport.

Our "Blitz Band of the Week" winner this week was the Rockport-Fulton Pirate Marching Band. They provided the musical overture on our Marching Scoreboard.
