Early Morning Fatal Crash on I-37 - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) - A man is dead after he crashed his SUV into an 18 wheeler on I-37 near Mc Kenzie Road.  The crash happened around three Saturday morning.  Investigators say the driver of the red SUV smashed into an 18-wheeler and died on impact.  Police say the driver of the SUV was speeding, and may have been going over 100 miles per hour at the time of the accident.  Investigators say the driver of the 18-wheeler was driving the speed limit and was not injured from the crash.  Police are still investigating.
