Man robbed, shot in head

A shooting investigation is underway tonight. Port Arthur police say a man survives being shot in the head. During a struggle over a cell phone.

The man told police he was driving westbound on Gulfway Drive Saturday afternoon when he noticed he was being followed by a car with four men inside.

He says he pulled over and that's when the four men got out of their car and robbed him.

He was able to make it to a relative's house and then taken to Renaissance Hospital in Groves.

Police say the wound is not life threatening.
